We observed our first hummingbird 5/5/11 at 6:33 PM, as we were driving out of our driveway. It may have been here for a few days, since we noticed the nectar in our feeder going down. It was a thrill to see one so early. In 2010 the first was observed on 6/11/10 at 5:20 PM and in 2009 we saw the first one on 5/29/09 at 5:20PM.
