I put out two of our hummingbird feeders this afternoon, although I thought it was probably too early. About an hour later, there was a male ruby-throat at the feeder. Roughly an hour later, there were two doing their usual fighting over the feeder - I didn't see much of the second one other than a blur. The first one has returned multiple times - complete with doing his usual little dance in front of the kitchen window where I frequently work! Apparently, the season has begun!
