The loons were kind of late this year. Normally they are here the day the ice breaks. We went out looking for them on some known nest sites. Just as we were about to give up we found a haggard looking pair on Little Dry Lake quietly fishing.

We had not heard any as of this date. However, the following morning I did hear some loons and a have heard a few more since. However, there does not seem to be our typical Spring loon invasion. Let's hope they are hear and they are well.
