Spotted my first monarch butterfly (as well as a white and three painted ladys) at 6:40 p.m. today in my yard!! It seems that the birds, butterflies and all sorts of other winged creatures are enjoying the beautiful summer like weather we are having this evening (was windy and high 80s low 90s today - now calm and 84)!!

May 11 Update

I saw four monarchs today while driving a 20 mile stretch. At 60 mph
couldn't tell condition. Will attempt to photograph next one/s I see at
home.
