Reported FOY Monarch on April 13 and Butterfly Weed just beginning to sprout through pine straw. Today observed 4 larvae...looked to be late 2nd or early 3rd instar...on same butterfly weed which is now about to set bloom. Moved 2 larvae to another plant and will likely need to transport them to finish feeding on A. humistrata which grows along sandy roadsides here.
