Yesterday, we saw numerous male and female Ruby Throated Hummers, one male Scarlet Tanager,and numberous Baltimore Orioles, Male and Female. We have 2 hummer feeders with 4/1 ratio syrup, one Oriole feeder with same, halved oranges, and peanut butter. We had action like we never saw before. Tonight after dark, I will have to fill all feeders as they are almost empty. The scarlet tanager really enjoyed the peanut butter. I have been keeping a log of these sightings for over 15 years and this year was the best plus our first Scarlet Tanager.
