Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 05/11/2011

Number: 1

Coldest April on record, and one of our wettest. May is acting much the same. Our tulips have yet to drop their petals - the bloom has been going on for an extended period. Around us, daffodiles and hyacinths are blooming simultaneously, and lilacs are barely budding. Usually tulips are "done" by mid April, and it's almost mid May! An exceptionally cool spring.
