Good morning fellow bird watchers, My hummer garden is off to a good start.I have had both male and female hummingbirds. My husband made me an upside down suet feeder and a new jelly feeder. My water fountain is up and running. All the birds have come and had a sip. There is still a lot of work to be done if the weather will just cooperate.Today it is cloudy, windy, and only 46*F.I went out birding in our little forest. It's on a hillside so I can see ground, mid level, and tree-top.I saw a pair of rose-breasted grosbeaks,clay-colored sparrows, common yellow throats, yellow warblers,Tennessee warblers,an ovenbird, Harris sparrows, chipping sparrow, robins, cardinals, flickers, orioles and a brown thrasher. He was fun to watch as he walked along the foot paths picking bugs. Good birding and gardening.
