I saw my first Hummingbird of the season perched outside my bedroom window at the very top of our Flowering Dogwood yesterday afternoon. I later saw her at one of the Hummingbird feeders, as well as buzzing around the Rhododendrons. She was back again today, as were 2 other hummers; a second female, whom she ran off immediately, and a male, whom she displayed her tail feathers for and mated with, before chasing away.
