I saw one Monarch Butterfly flying around my cabin in the country. It's in Washington County about 14 miles from Bourbon. Just one lone butterfly but I discovered this past weekend (5/13) that she apparently laid some eggs on the 6 inch milkweed plants in my garden (because I have caterpillars). BUT, the milkweed is so small right now due to the late chilly weather we're having in our area and I'm afraid there's not enough milkweed to go around.
