"It’s Official! Ice Out! Checked Forestry Point this morning and it is free and clear of ice. Some bits on shore yet but nothing appreciable. Bruce channel was open yesterday. So I would say that it was a May 9th ice out for 2011. A little bit later than last years April 23rd ice out but long before our May 21st opener… Get your gear packed! See you soon!"
