Barn Swallow (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/18/2011

Number: 1

When I went out to give the horse her late night snack, I shone the flashlight up on a five year old swallow nest in the centre of the stable. All snuggled in were two swallows. They had returned! I had left both the front and rear barn doors open for them last weekend figuring that as soon as the weather broke after about three weeks of rain, they would make their appearance.
