We love to see the Barn Swallows come to our home in Clarksdale, MS and our other home in Friars Point, MS about 11 miles north on the Mississippi River. We have 3 nests on the Clarksdale porch and at least two on the porch in Friars Point. Our historic Methodist Church has at least 3 every year. The Purple Martin houses came years ago attracting the martins. Later the Barn Swallows followed them. I have 4 baby birds on the ground on my porch. Are the injured? I am so worried. They have feathers but look too young to fly. The first time I saw them in the nest was about 2 weeks ago.
