I was so surprised to see the 1st Baltimore Oriole ever at our Hummingbird feeder! I bought Oriole nectar and a feeder. I hung the feeder + put a small dish with fresh orange slice and grape jelly on the deck rail. There were 2 very active male Baltimore Orioles who preferred the dish rather than the new feeder! One would come for the grape jelly and the other orange slice. They'd never feed at the same time. As of May 21st no more Baltimore Oriole sightings at the dish. We enjoyed watching these birds for one week.
