I was walking the Canal Towpath in the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area from 3:30p to about 6p on May 24th. I saw an adult Monarch moving back and forth along a fairly long section of field (150 yards). I followed/watched it for almost 10 minutes hoping to get a picture but no luck. It was brightly colored and the wings didn't seem tattered at all. I have been noticing milkweed sprouts up to 18" or so over the last week or two and was hoping to get a picture of a Monarch and will keep trying
