First monarch! I spotted it on mile 60 of a 90 mile drive across Vermont at 5 pm this evening. It flew up and over my car, flashing its bright-colored wings. As I drove past miles and miles of milkweed along the roadside, I could picture the monarch's journey. Welcome back! It was cold while you were gone and you were missed.
