Finally saw my first monarch of the season while gardening in my backyard. Didn't get close enough to see if it was a male or female, but it seemed to be in good condition. May have been a male because it did not visit my milkweed patch. Temperature here was 87 and winds were approx. 10 mph from the WNW.
