Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 06/06/2011

Number: 1

I saw two butterflies when I was weeding in the garden this morning about 9:00. I couldn't tell exactly what kind they were because they were too far away and flying too fast. One could possibly have been a monarch, although it looked a little more yellow than orange. The other was some type of swallowtail with black and blue markings. Not much is in bloom now besides the first coneflower of the season and some sweet William. I'm sure more butterflies will show up soon as more flowers start to bloom.
