A beautiful sunny afternoon today! spotted my first monarch scouting out the yard. She went to my largest milkweed patch and began laying eggs. She returned a few times throughout the afternoon. I have just collected 20 eggs to share with teachers from Monarch Teacher Network who are meeting at my house for a planning session for this summer's MTN workshop in Winkler.
