Today in a park in the east end of Toronto, along the north shore of Lake Ontario, I found a very fresh female and about a dozen eggs on milkweed. Air temperature near the lake still quite cool. Milkweed very young and tender. All vegetation (shrubs, grass, flowering plants) very lush and green. Lilac in some areas starting to die back. Lots of flowering dogwood shrubs.
