I collected 12 eggs from my Monarch watch station, and saved them to feed out. They emerged on Wednesday....beautiful Monarchs and the first I have seen here in my area. I raised them, and will keep some to breed and multiply the population. Some are in my breeding tent which we will collect the eggs in a few days and raise those also to release. We keep this up until the fall when my students tag between 2-300 to send South.
