Oriole (1st Baltimore)

Date: 06/09/2011

Number: 1

This is our first sighting of a pair of orioles in our yard. I noted the female trying to pull sting from our deck umbrella and I began to put out pieces of thin wheat colored crochet thread and dental floss for her. She cleaned out the container everytime I put some in. I at first cut the strings a little longer than 6 inches, but I read today the correct way to do it. We plan to put out appropriate food for them also. They are beautiful!!
