Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/03/2011

Number: 1

Submitted by Don Davis. Fort Richmond is former town/community now absorbed as part of the City of Winnipeg, and in the south end of Winnipeg:

G'day Don,
The first Monarch I saw this year was at about 1700 in Fort Richmond (Winnipeg) on 3 June, 2011. It was a worn specimen, but flew past our Final Friday of the Month group on the patio at Micheal P's, our local watering hole, and I did not get a good enough look at it to identify its sex.

Cheers,
Terry
