Single female, fresh looking, flying through our milkweed patch of 30+ plants. Also, a single pupae about 3 cm long, bright turquoise green, with a band of gold.

This is our first report, but one of note. There have been very few butterflies here this spring and these two appear to be the last adult and pupae in our demo gardens.
