We have watched this nest for three years. It is on the shore of Medicine Lake. We first spotted it when we were fishing and an eagle swooped down and picked up a fish and returned to the nest. We went and investigated. We return each year to check it out. The nest is in a good location near the water and and a semi wild area of the shoreline. It is only visible form the water. The seven county area around Minneapolis has a lot of bald eagles now living in or near the cities.
