Single female monarch on common milkweed. Return location. Milkweed located in flower bed at residence. We gather and raise the caterpillars. We live at elevation in Mount Savage, MD, so it takes a while for them to find us. Here she is. A lone female on the milkweed, hopefully, doing her wonderful job of laying eggs.
