Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/19/2011

Number: 1

Found chomping on top of a milkweed plant a larva that must be in instar 4 or 5. It was happily climbing around the tall milkweed and we snapped some pictures and were amazed by nature! It was a awesome night and he was out eating his dinner! We can download our pictures and send them over. It was beautiful! A great discovery. I was looking for monarch eggs and instar 1 or 2 and gasped at the site of this little fellow! We've enclosed our Father’s Day Monarch Egg hunt photos. Jensen's
