We were returning to Knox county from Oak Ridge TN along the Oak Ridge hwy around 5:00 pm. As we crossed the big bridge over the Tennessee River into the Solway community we saw an adult bald eagle circling overhead.

I was returning to Knox Co from Oak Ridge TN along the Oak Ridge Hwy at 7:00 pm. I saw what I believe to be a juvenile bald eagle circling over the community of Solway near the junction of the Oak Ridge Hwy and the start of TN 140/Pellissippi Parkway. It looked exactly like the bald eagle we had seen earlier -- not so high up, and waaaaay too big to be a hawk or anything else. It looked to be adult sized, but was all brown, without its white head feathers yet.
