3 more instars collected today. They are all third instars. So this makes it look like there is going to be some further sightings now.
The start for this summer seems to be a bit slower, but then we had a very rainy spring and the common milkweed plants are generally very tall (about 4 to 5 feet)with very large leaves and lots of fragrant blooms now or opening soon.
