Date: 07/12/2011

Number: 1

This is the second day this hummingbird has visited. From pictures I have seen on the net, this appears to be a Black Jacobi. It is slim, mostly black and has some other whitish gray solid bands. It is a persistent feeder and has been arounf several times this morning between 8:30 and 9:30 am EST. Today record temperatures of close to 100 are being predicted for this area.
