We have many milkweed plants with NO signs of Monarch eggs or caterpillars. Last year at this date I had counted 48 caterpillars or eggs. We had a very wet May, June and now hot and dry. Seem to have plenty of nectar sources- just no Monarch activity. Have not seen an adult since the 2nd week of June at our Waystation.
