It is mid July and I have only seen 3 monarchs in the city. The supply of milkweed that i have counted on in the past has been dug up and replanted to rye grass. there were about 150 plants now all gone.
i helped a friend toraise 10 cats to release stage but we had a hard time to find eggs from mid june to July this year.
the weather has been hot and humid and many days the wind from the south was at least 20 mph.
