About a week after seeing the only Monarch of the season, I saw two cats on my Asclepias incarnata (Swamp Milkweed) which is planted right outside my front porch. I only saw them for two days so I am hoping they survived and are tucked inside a chrysalis somewhere awaiting to emerge for their long journey to Mexico. Oddly enough the only other Butterfly that I have seen this year was a Tiger Swallowtail in early spring and nothing since.
