I have yet to see monarch and all species of butterflies seem to be absent or VERY few in numbers! I have collected only 12 eggs (first of season) in last 2 weeks vs. Over 100 by this time in previous years. Several counties (not mine) have sprayed for gypsy months in june & possibly May according to info online.

Everyone in area reports few if ANY monarchs. I've also noticed many more aphids covering milkweed and fewer seedpods!? Also noticing very few bees.
