11:30 am-- Sunny and gorgeous! Happy and excited to report first Monarch! Just beautiful.... nectaring on the purple butterfly bush in my front yard. Looks fresh and vibrant! Doing a happy dance all around the flowers. I have many milkweed plants front and back! Hoping to find some activity.I have more butterfly bushes in the backyard and blackeyed susans all over the yard. What a wonderful gift! They came June 29th last year and the year before it was July 5th so this is late! Don't despair the weather --tornadoes --blew them off course. They are coming!
