Wow-wee . . . we are up to a current count of 63 caterpillars. They have cleaned the two big milkweed plants to the bone. Many have actually moved onto the milkweed cactus (it is what they feed on in Mexico). The large planter will milkweed is untouched. Did notice that several caterpillars were very light in color. Maybe a heatwave while they were still in the egg effected them?? Had a butterfly around the plants yesterday leaving her eggs behind. See one caterpillar hanging from the stone wall ready to move onto the next stage. Lots going on here =)
