Saw the first Blackchinned Hummingbird of the year at 6:35am. He was at my kitchen window feeder and stayed for about 2 minutes. He left when I made a movement that startled him, but came right back a couple of minutes later and continued feeding for a little while. We don't see too many of them - we usually have Broadtailed, Calliope and Rufous, but this year we've seen only one Rufus and this little guy.
