Have only seen 2 adult monarchs this year. Has anyone else reported NOT seeing any adult monarchs this season? Yearly i collect monarch caterpillars for schools and other public places. As of 7/20/2011 we have seen a total of 2 monarch adults. (My first observation was like July 12th; my wife said she saw one earlier, perhaps like the 7th.) What has happened? I did have 5 tiny caterpillars on my milkweed clump but something sucked them dry, so they are gone. Very concerned!
