Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 07/21/2011

Number: 1

Today is the first day of relief after 5 days of above 100 heat indexes. (It's only 85 degrees F today.) Yesterday, monarchs were busy in my home garden. Today I checked for eggs: 62 eggs and 3 tiny newly hatched larvae found on about 2 dozen plants. The most eggs I have ever found in one search before was 17!
