Today I observed 6 adult monarchs, one of which was laying eggs on a good patch of milkweed. I look for monarchs when I'm out and about almost everyday at different times. I have seen about 20 adults, 5 larva, and two chrysalis since May. This is very low compared to last year. I just received monarch tags from Monarch Watch and plan to start tagging August 18th.
