At the end of the school year a pair of barn swallows made a nest on our front porch. They laid 5 eggs. All of them hatched but only 1 of them made it. We believe it was from the heat. On August 6th 2011 we noticed 4 more eggs in the nest. We calculated the incubation time and time for them to get ready to fly and we think that if the 4 eggs survive they should make it for migration in the fall.
