FINALLY! A Monarch in my garden late this afternoon! It's been months since i've observed one here! It was in very good shape and very lively. Would not let me approach it.

Grave concerns for Monarch populations.....

Butterflies have been all but nonexistent this summer. In years past i would be getting some great species by now as well as having much activity all summer.

I can only hope next summer will make up for our loss.......
