on 8/1/11 I was sitting on my front porch and a rou hummingbird landed on my shepherds hook and landed, and sat for a minute. That night I got a bird feeder for the back yard, the first morning at around 8:00 AM my daughter said 5 hummingbirds feed at the feeder, I don't know if it's five different birds or one bird coming back five times. We see them the same time every morning if we're out. Plus sometimes in the afternoon and he just lands and hangs around for a minute, in the evening about 4-5 he comes back to feed. he has a gray breast and some kind of feathers on his head that stand up when he fly, when he's at rest it hugs his head.
