We had 10 Chrysalis emerge 8/9/11. 5 the day prior and 4 the day after. We also had another 4 today and 9 more yet to come. Many adults are hanging out in our butterfly garden. Our milkwee plants were eaten to sticks the wee prior so no laying for awhile. My son and I litterally caught over 60 hungry caterpillars and drove them to my mothers across town. She has a huge batch of milkweed this year. I am sure she will have even more butterflies then we have to report in the next few days.
