Barn swallows that nested here sucessfully raised two young. The young left the nest 8-11 and are enjoying flying. Parents continue to feed them. 8-12 two more barn swallows appeared and joined the group. 8-13 one additional swallow appeared for a total of 7. I believe the other birds are ones on their way south. I suspect all will leave in the next week or so. Very cool summer weather this year. Reference 6-25-11 barn swallow sighting.
