Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/15/2011

Number: 5

Sightings begin in the early morning, throughout the day, through the evening. We have four (4) different feeders and periodically see green ones with white throats, also with ruby throats. We have a small black one, green ones without ruby throats. Looks like each species/color has a favorite feeder that they like to go to. We often see green ones purched in the trees above the feeders. If another hummingbird lands on the feeders, the one purched in the tree dive bombs the other. Extremely territorial!
