From a dismal start, I've seen many more monarchs (and eggs) in my yard the past few weeks.
It's definitely lower than numbers in previous years (I at first didn't get tags since I didn't expect to have enough butterflies to use them), but at this point I have:

- raised and released 8

- about 90 caterpillars and pupae

- about 35 eggs and still collecting

So things have turned out better so far than I expected!
