I am beginning to see monarchs, even while driving down the road. Just yesterday (Aug.3), traffic came to a slower pace on the Interstate due to construction and I glanced over to admire the milkweed in the median area. Just as I was enjoying the blooms on the swamp milkweed, a bright, fresh monarch landed! I was indeed pleased! Likewise, I'm seeing them in my yard and on back country roads when I am able to look more carefully.
