My son and I observed what appeared to be an American Goldfinch, I believe it was a male, looking around my yard for my Niger Seed. Unfortunately, I have not put up the feeders yet, as I thought it was too early. My mistake. He was quite striking, and still had his breeding feathers on. I have seen him since, but am hopeful.
