I have 3 feeders with homemade nectar. (Please note: red food dye is not good for little hummingbird kidneys....make your own! Recipes are available online! Please replace with fresh nectar weekly!) 9am, Aug. 20, I spotted a male Ruby Throat at my feeder. I've had feeders up for a week. This seems earlier than usual for a fall sighting!
